Joël CROUZET
Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientific Officer, Founder of InnaVirVax
Joël Crouzet holds a PhD from Institut National Agronomique of Paris (now AgroParisTech) and is entitled to supervise research. He has 15 years of experience in R&D in the Pharma and Biotechnology sectors. His last positions include Research Director of Neurotech SA and AP Cells, and Department Director at Rhône-Poulenc Rorer Gencell (now part of Sanofi-Aventis). He is the co-inventor of more than twenty four patent applications or issued patent families, two of which are used industrially for the manufacturing of vitamin B12 and two other are in advanced clinical development (NV1FGF by Sanofi-Aventis). Lastly, Joël Crouzet, has gained a strong expertise in business development and technology transfer at Inserm-Transfert where he was General Manager; in this position he has negotiated licensing and collaborative deals with Pharmas and start-up and detected and/or coached research results from Inserm with strong innovative potential towards either out licensing or start-up incorporation.
Joël Crouzet is twice an award winner of the Rhône-Poulenc (now part of Sanofi-Aventis) research prize (1990 &1996), a co-wardee of the Doistau-Blutet award from the French Academy of Sciences (1992) and an awardee of the contest of the young innovative start-up from the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research in 2008.
Patrice DEBRE

Prof. P. Debré, MD Ph.D., is Professor of Immunology at the University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI). He has been from 1988 untill 2010 the Director of the Reseach Unit of cellular immunology, now UMR-S Inserm U945. Patrice Debré is a co-author of more than 350 publications in peer reviewed journals, most notably in the field of HIV and blood diseases, immunopathology and basic immunology.
He is or has been sitting in different institutional scientific boards (Agence Nationale de Recherche sur le SIDA et les hépatites virales, Institut Curie –Paris-, Association pour la recherché sur le cancer). He is also Vice-Chair of the Board of the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) and Chair of scientific committee of the Centre international de recherche médicale, Gabon, and chairman of the board of the CIRAD (centre de coopération internationale en recherche agronomique pour le développement). He has worked on several research programs on development in southern-hemisphere countries.
Vincent VIEILLARD
Founder and Scientific Advisor
Dr Vincent Vieillard received his master (1992) and PhD (1995) degreesin Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University Paris XI(France), where he became researcher at the CNRS (French NationalResearch Center) (1996). Between 1998 and 2001, he has carriedpost-doctoral studies in Prof. Jack Strominger’s lab at HarvardUniversity (Cambridge, USA) on activator receptors of NK cells. In2001, he joined the laboratory of the Prof. Patrice Debré at thePitié-Salpêtrière hospital in Paris where he pursued his research on NKcells responses in various pathologies, including HIV-infections. Since2009, Dr Vincent Vieillard is co-head of the Team-2 “ImmunoRegulation& ImmunoTherary” and in charge of the "NK" research group at UMR-S 945 (INSERM & University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France).
Raphaël HO TSONG FANG

Raphaël Ho Tsong Fang is a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine and has completed his education with a Ph.D. degree in Microbiology and medical virology. He has worked for eight years on SIV (Simian ImmunoDeficiency Virus) and HIV infections at the Pasteur Institute of Paris and UCLA, Los Angeles. He has a strong knowledge of HIV disease and the pathogenesis leading to AIDS. He beneficiated from many collaborations in various fields related to AIDS, such as the pathogenesis of attenuated viruses that were vaccine candidates at that time, the molecular biology of the virus, the lymphocytary homeostasis, vaccinological trials proof of concept using different approaches. He is a co-author of 14 articles published in peer-reviewed journals. Besides these scientific skills, he also acquired a great knowledge of primate and murine infectious animal models. In parallel, he also developed a strong experience in high biosafety or high sanitary status vivarium management, as well as in collaborative project management.
Nathalie BARAN
Manager in Charge of Operation Development
Nathalie hods an MBA and has a PhD in endocrinology. She has gained experience if start-up development while working for several years at OSEO and Genopole Entreprises.
Michel KLEIN

Prof Michel Klein is a former President Sciences and Technologies of Aventis Pasteur (now Sanofi-Aventis Pasteur), Director of the Canadian Network for Vaccines and Immunotherapeutics and currently Scientific Director of Amvac AG (Züg). Michel Klein is non executive director of numerous board of directors; he has more than 35 years of experience in the field of vaccine.
Robert L. MURPHY
Shareholder and advisor
Dr. Murphy is currently the John P. Phair Professor of Infectious Diseases at Northwestern University where he is also Director, GlobalHealth Research. He holds academic appointments as Adjunct Professor of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at Harvard School of PublicHealth and as Professeur Associé at the Pierre et Marie Curie Université in Paris.
Dr. Murphy’s primary research interest is in viral infections. His research includes drug development of new antiretroviral drugs, anti-hepatitis agents, therapeutic vaccines, the complications of antiviral therapy and the scale up of therapy for AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria in sub-Saharan Africa. Dr. Murphy has consulted with numerous pharmaceutical firms and has been involved with thedevelopment of over 80% of drugs used to treat HIV and viral hepatitis. During their initiation phase of development, he was interim medical director of two start-up biotechnology companies that are currently developing antiviral drugs, Idenix Pharmaceuticals and Pharmasset.
Dr. Murphy is Chairman of the Board of Directors of ACLIRES International Ltd.
